Kumkumadi oil FAQ
What is Kumkumadi oil (Kumkumadi Tailam)?
Kumkumadi Tailam is a classic Ayurvedic face oil made with saffron (kumkuma) and herbs. It is used for glow, dull skin and an even-looking skin tone.
Is Kumkumadi Tailam the same as Kumkumadi Thailam?
Yes. Kumkumadi Tailam, Kumkumadi Thailam and Kunkumadi Thailam are the same classic saffron face oil, spelled differently.
Does Kumkumadi oil work for pigmentation?
Women in our community see pigmentation fade over time when they use it every day with a 1-minute massage. Consistency matters more than quantity.
Does the oil work without face yoga?
Yes. Many of our women only do the 1-minute massage, morning and evening, and see the change. Women who also join the free face yoga class see even better results.
Can I use Kumkumadi oil at night or in the morning?
Both. Use a few drops in the morning before face yoga, and at night as part of your night ritual.
Is Kumkumadi oil good for oily or acne-prone skin?
Use only 1–2 drops on damp skin and dab off any extra after 15–20 minutes. It is a massage oil for daily care, not for active acne.
Can I use Kumkumadi oil under the eyes?
Yes, gently, with your ring finger. For the under-eye area many women use our Under Eye Serum along with it.
How long does Kumkumadi oil take to show results?
Most women in our classes notice a fresher glow in a few weeks of daily use. Pigmentation takes longer and fades gradually.
Which size should I buy?
5 ml to try it, 10 ml for about a month of daily use, 30 ml for the best value.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Do a patch test on the inner arm first, then start with 1 drop a day. Stop if anything itches.
